Madrid Regional Center for the Performing Arts 

The Teatros del Canal was awarded the National Prize for Architecture in 2018. The Canal Theatre of Madrid settles in the central district of Madrid Chamberí. The intent of this project was to create an artistic and architectural landmark in the city, as well as to satisfy the city’s need for a modern performing arts space. Architect Juan Navarro Baldeweg, Professor of Projects at the School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM), is the author of this project.
